For those who don't know the full story of how Jack and Kitty came to be born so early see below.
Jack and Kitty were born on Wednesday 28th August 2002, at 9.15pm and 9.16pm respectively,
in the Singleton Hospital, Swansea, Wales.

Why Wales you may ask? Well, Paddy and Jo were on holiday in Tenby at the time. They were enjoying a day on the beach when Jo complained of having stomach pains. Paddy decided to drive her to the nearest hospital at Carmarthen. Here Jo was told that she was in labour, the hospital didn't have the facilities to deal with her there and she would have to be transferred to the nearest big hospital (SWANSEA).
After a white knuckle ride in an ambulance they arrived at Swansea where Jo was whisked into theatre and the babies were born by emergency caesarean.
Although the twins were born 13 weeks early, (Jack weighed 2lb.3oz, Kitty 2lb.6oz.) they are receiving expert care around the clock.
It has been a big shock to all concerned, especially Paddy and Jo, but the twins are fighters and are progressing slowly.
Jack and Kitty are beautiful babies, Kitty being the more active of the two, while Jack is the sleeper.
Paddy and Jo have spent nearly three weeks in a family room on the ward. But now that the twins have been moved to Southampton they can return to their home and a bit of comfort!
